WELL BEING?

Until now, the Healthcare scandal seemed to be the worst we had seen. But no, there is one that’s worse. $1.2 billions is the Budget that the government allocates to the Institute in charge of children and families well being. According to the news, the authorities are investigating today $1.555 of the Institute’s spending. 53% of its total Budget is under a question mark.
This is worse than the Healthcare scandal for one reason: to rob an adult is a felony while to rob children is a crime. Children cannot understand the way they are being damaged nor can they defend themselves. It also digs to the country a huge hole in terms of a generation. Children without health, food and education. Family care institutions, a second line guest when appointments are concerned, should have the best minds, the best professionals, the most visionaries, in order to design the country of the future. A country that will be defined by children’s wellbeing today.
