PIPOL TALK 1
Today I am going to Talk about my Blog. Not about its contents though I, of course, invite you to read it. I want to talk about its Title and Slogan: "Pipol magazine" and "a place for everybody´s eyes only". How the blog was born is already written*, let me just mention that Pipol read in Spanish sounds People.
Life does wonder-full things, you know. Sometimes you do something out of the blues, in a rush, not giving it a second thought and, sometime later, you realize that from the depth of your own being and intuition, surfaced the exact vision, the precise words, the whole meaning. That happened to me with the title and the slogan I gave to my Blog. Let me explain:
Any spot in this picture could be planet Earth, living among billions of billions of galaxies. Watched it in its own neighborhood ...
... the one thing that makes Earth different from all surrounding planets and stars, what makes it Unique in this side of the universe is only one thing: it has People, Pipol. The essence of planet Earth is Pipol.
But then, you look around Earth, from anywhere, everywhere, and it seems that Pipol is not precisely a first rated concept on Earth. One of the examples that strikes me the most are those medical high-tech devises that poison the patient in order to make the machine work. You know, that horrid greenish beverage you have to drink shivering under a green coat that let your buttocks shine, just after signing a two pages documents which informs you that the procedure may cause kidney failure, heart imbalance, maybe a stroke... but if you do not drink it the machine will not work. Pipol behind a procedure.
It also happens with food, for example. Some economic variable says that the owner of a big amount of food would not make enough profit should he not discard overproduction. Tons of food are left to rotten. Pipol behind economic variables.
Needless to say what happens with weapons. A huge worldwide Weapons industry feeds itself on, guess what? : Pipol
Most surprising it is what happens with the environment. Earth design of moneymaking, in a Global context, harms the three basic elements for Humans survival: air, water and soil. As it is now, Earth moneymaking wheel, in the long run, will kill guess who? : Pipol.
But perhaps the most amazing scenario on Earth and its peoples is related to the reproduction of the species. Every Human couple wants to have a child and they do. But once the little creature is brought to Earth, the world throws these stats:
250 millions between 5-14 Work
120 millions work Full-time
200 millions suffer from Malnutrition
1.000 millions live in Poverty
115 millions have no Education
Every 15 minutes one dies because lack of Water
Banks are one of the most contradictory devises. To exist the need pipol - pipol´s money- but once the money is collected it serves Banks, not pipol.
And so on, examples can be found in every activity on Earth. The reason, it seems, is that production itself matters more than the people it is supposed to serve. As if the planet´s poles had shifted, priorities changed leaving people behind a blind quest for profit, money, privilege, and comfort while people, powerless, watch. Blind because although progress, certainly, implies production, growing and money making, its entire meaning would lose direction if the Global result of that effort is the planet and its people´s doom.
People watch powerless but then, not so powerless. That is where the slogan of the Blog comes in: A space for everybody´s eyes. Space with a double meaning: the cosmic space Earth belongs to, and the only space Pipol have to live in: Earth. "For everybody´s eyes" because people´s fate can be set only by, guess who? : Pipol, all peoples that inhabit Earth.
That last word that seems so lonely - "only" - is, as a matter of fact, the most powerful of all. "Only" implies both, unity and the individual. Once the individual looks for, finds and recognizes the unique power of the soul, that God´s given human center from where understanding, strength, and direction flows, Earth horizon will be clear in every one´s mind. Once the individual understands with heart and mind the present real scenario he or she is living in, the one useful tool shows clearly: unity. One will become tens, hundreds, thousands, millions, billions so that – together - Earth people find the right track to save their home...
and guess who...?
...PIPOL !!!!
