The generation that is leaving stageMay 29/2011
was used to read.
The new generation is not just digital and cybernetic but visual.
Circular history will reach its dawn.
Like cuneiform and chinese writing,
images tell it all.
images tell it all.
Useless try to pull youth back to the old ways.
In crowds voices cannot be heard
any effort will loose its way
only images that make them think
will tame the wild river blossom the seed.
When gain is not placed in metal
but in what´s to life pure and essential
instinct awakes, survival calls
true knowledge emerges from their own soul.
The challenge of grown ups leaving Earth
on these days seen at its worst stage
is not to tell children how it should be
but to dare show them what they must keep.
History given with open mind
will give them a view of where they stand
shortsighted goals of gold and fame
will strike them flat and change their aims.
Men determination to save their herd
will prove critical in the final days
women instinct to breed and care
is one of the reasons they should be heard.
When of all the feelings men have at birth
those dark and wild are on the lead
a deep effort to stop their ways
will reveal tools useful and dear.
The planet drifts everyday afar
unbending laws dictate its turn
paradise now or paradise lost
is today call for us all.
